Jazz Happening at Taba Heights, April 23 at 8 pm

19 April 2006

Sunday evening on April 23rd, musicians of 3 countries will come together for a jam session at the commercial center of Taba Heights - Al Wekelah.
Latin Jazz with Egyptian flavour is played by Freddy Rizk from Canada, an internationally known lead guitarist.
Ahmed Omar, Eritrea, plays bass, and is the founder of a popular Egyptian group: Wast al Balad. Egypt is presented by oud, percussions, drums and trumpet.

The jazz session in Al Wekala - Taba Heights starts at 8 pm. Entrance is free – and naturally anybody is invited to actively join the sextet.

Finally Taba welcomes some cultural events and hopefully more will follow.
